Southcourt Junior Volunteer Café
What:
This Youth Café is for young people who are part of our team on a number of our projects in and around Aylesbury Vale. We have loads of team building activities for junior volunteers to get involved in, alongside sessions where we come together to share about the week and talk about some of our projects. This café offers time for the team to have a go on a number of the games including Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii. If you are a junior volunteer then we invite you to come along, hang out, grab some food and get involved.
When:
3.00pm – 5.00pm Friday afternoons in school term time.

Church of the Good Shepherd Church Square, Southcourt, HP21 8NH (Off Churchill Avenue)
Who:
A dedicated team of over 50 young people who make up our junior volunteer team across all of our cafés.

Youth Cafés across Aylesbury Vale are great places for young people to come together and hang out. Many of these cafés have become the highlight of the week for a large number of young people. We are committed to seeing young people reached and given the opportunity to experience a true sense of community. This is where our junior volunteering project comes in. We have built a team of dedicated young people who are passionate about seeing their peers get involved in something positive. All of our junior volunteers have experienced first hand what it’s like to come along to a Youth Café for the first time, and are able to make this process as welcoming as possible for others.
Team:
We have a team of AVYFC staff and Gap Year workers who are committed to equipping junior volunteers with the skills that will enable them to have a positive impact upon those of their own generation.
