Southcourt Youth Café

Southcourt Youth Café

What?
Southcourt Youth Café was set up in September 2006 and has been running as a successful part of the community for over 5 years now. Each week young people in Southcourt and the surrounding areas come together to hang out and get involved in a great range of exciting activities. We have full range of games consoles with some great games, including a Playstation 3 with Fifa 12, an Xbox 360 with the latest guitar hero games, Nintendo Wii and a GameCube. The Youth Café also has a pool table and some creative craft activities.

When the summer comes around the café takes on a slightly different format with a number of creative games and activities happening outside on the green. We are welcoming new young people every week, so we hope that you can come along and get involved. No matter what your into, there is something for everyone.

More?
This is one of the longest running Youth Cafés that we have and it continues to be an exciting place for young people to hang out together in a great environment every week. The Youth Café has become a highlight of the week for so many young people in the area and the surrounding communities. We hope to see more young people coming along each week and getting involved with everything that is going on.

Team
There is a great team of local volunteers, junior volunteers and gap year workers that make this Youth Café the best place for young people in Southcourt. We are excited about seeing new young people coming along to the café and meeting friends and new faces each week. Its great to be able to get involved and get to know the young people in Southcourt. Our junior volunteers have all grown up in Southcourt and know many of the faces around the area. They are always around to welcome new people and make the introductions to new faces and new activities.
